Earth Energy Consultants develops drilling prospects in various geologic horizons across New York State and Pennsylvania.  We do not operate the drilling or production of any wells or prospects that we generate, as we are a true consulting firm with no interest in competing with local operators.

Our area of expertise has historically been within the Lower Silurian to upper Devonian package throughout the western New York arena, but our area of interest has recently included the deeper plays currently unfolding in New York and Pennsylvania.  We continue to develop Medina Sandstone prospects ranging in depth from 1400' to over 6,000’, and typically offer an integrated package with leases secured, final geological reports and maps prepared, and a drilling prospect that is ready to be permitted.  

We also remain engaged in Onondaga/Bass Island fractured limestone exploration across western New York.  This lower Devonian target, first discovered around 1980 at a depth of 2800’ still presents very interesting oil and natural gas opportunities for innovative operators despite being a mature play.  Recent discoveries are providing incentives to look at this exciting horizon in a new light. 

Other target horizons in which we are conducting subsurface investigations to develop prospects include the deeper Middle-Ordovician Trenton-Black River and Upper Cambrian Rose Run equivalent in New York, as well as other less conventional targets.
